ERC Scientific Council: 5 new members appointed

On 7 December, the European Commission has appointed five new members of the ERC Scientific Council. They will serve for an initial period of four years starting on 1 January 2023.

On 7 December, the European Commission has appointed five new members of the ERC Scientific Council. They will serve for an initial period of four years starting on 1 January 2023.

The new members are:

  • Professor Harriet Bulkeley (Durham University, Geography)
  • Professor Thomas Henzinger (Institute of Science and Technology / ISTA, Austria, Computer and Communication Sciences)
  • Professor Leszek Kaczmarek (Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology / Polish Academy of Sciences, Neurobiology)
  • Professor Luke O’Neill (Trinity College / Dublin, Biochemistry)
  • Professor Björn Ottersten (University of Luxembourg, Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust)
